December 5, 1914 - Improving the Function of the Rural School Teacher

While the ongoing move toward school consolidation was proceeding forward, some educators continued to look at ways to promote a better teaching environment.   An article proposing ways to improve the outcomes for students and elevate the role of the rural school teacher, written by W C Bagley, the Director of the School of Education at the University of Illinois,  appeared in the  December 5, 1914 edition of The True Republican.
