The Farmer's National Congress held their annual session in Plano, Kendall county, east of DeKalb county, Illinois from September 23 - 26, 1913. The announcement of the annual meeting was published on page 7 of the September 6, 1913 edition of The True Republican.
Of note was the special attention they planned to give to the 'rural school situation'.
